| Review for: Baja Rosa Strawberry Tequila Cream |
Hey! Where's the tequila?, Jan 28, 2008
I had not had a chance to try the Baja Rosa yet, but I did try the Tango (orange) flavor and I can say that it was enjoyable. It wasn't anything I didn't expect for a liqueur that was mated with tequila. For the price ($12.99) I can say that it was tasty, but if your after a more pronounced tequila bite and flavor, look somewhere else or add tequila to it because this drink is all show and very little go. Enjoyable chilled with very little ice. |

| Review for: Carolans Finest Irish Cream Liqueur |
We're addicted!, Jan 18, 2008
My boyfriend and I have become addicted to this great drink! Everynight before bedtime, we share a small glass. We both prefer it at room temperature rather than chilled. It has kind of become our desert for the day -- a wonderful bedtime treat. :)
I'm not an advocate of giving animals liquor, but my beagle LOVES this stuff too, so we let her lick the glass when we are finished!
We have served it to guests as an after dinner drink also, and everyone agrees it's wonderful. Sweet and smooth - nice alternative to regular desert. |

| Review for: Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur |
Jeremiah Weed, my last drink of '07, and my 1st of '08., Jan 09, 2008
I made a review last year on this, and that was from a fading memory of how good it tasted. I finally found some at BEVMO on 67th Ave. and Bell in Glendale, AZ. It was a wee bit pricey ($13.99) but holy crap, this stuff rocks! MY GF, who is not a drinker, drank some for New Years, and she liked it, too. 'Course, she calls it `Battery Acid' because of it's strong burn, but I love it.
The reason that, as one of the Colonels (of the 308th FS) at Luke AFB told me, that Luke pilots drink JW is, because years ago, one of the pilots crashed and died. The investigators inspected the wreckage, and did their reports. After the reports, they went to a liquor store nearby, and all that was readily available was Jeremiah Weed. The bottles were bought, and brought to the site, where they drank to their fallen comrade.
Jeremiah Weed rocks, on the rocks, or flat out straigh from the bottle |

| Review for: Corralejo Anejo Tequila |
A Rare and Surprising Find! KUDOs!!!, Jan 04, 2008
I have been on a personal quest for the finest and smoothest Tequilas for a number of years, and the Corralejo Anejo is the most exquisit Tequila that has ever crossed my pallet. It is gentle upon entering the mouth, easily slides down the throat, and settles in the stomach with no side effects whatsoever. It is almost like drinking a smooth, yet subtly flavorful punch. No kick whatsoever! I've found this retails nationwide from between $45 to $65, but found it at AZ/Mex-border duty free shops for $24. It's even more than that in Mexico! |
