| Review for: Duggan's Dew Scotch |
Terrific Everyday Scotch, May 25, 2008
When I moved to the mountains of North Carolina, the word among local tipplers was that Duggan's Dew--a somewhat obscure blend--tasted pretty much the same as Dewar's White Label, but at a budget price. Turns out they were right, and Duggan's has become my favorite everyday Scotch, supplanting Grant's and Old MacGregor in that role. It's a rich blend, one that avoids the slight (what?) acetone tinge that affronts my palate with Teacher's Highland Cream and other similarly-priced three-year-olds. While it won't make you forget, say, a Glenlivet Archive 21 (a Xmas present last year), it will perform yeoman service in a day-to-day capacity. Highly recommended. |

| Review for: Margaritaville Tequila Gold |
Perfect for Shots!, May 22, 2008
I purchased the 750ml Magaritaville Tequila Gold from Target for less than $15 per bottle. Initially I was torn and not sure I wanted a cheap tasting Tequila (we girls were having "Shot Night") for my event but I didn't want to spend $60 for Patron either. I decided against the Cuervo (hangover city) and after two passes through the store, decided to go for a couple of bottles of it.
After our first shot, I knew I found THE ONE! The Margaritaville has a nice peppery taste with a light aroma and it's such a smooth liqour that you won't hesitate to do a 2nd or 3rd shot immediately afterwards.
Buying the Patron would have been a waste of great liqour and my money, I mean at nearly $60 per bottle, it is meant for savoring. The margaritaville on the other hand, economically priced and having no alcoholly taste will have you feeling rather well and guilt free the morning after.
It may not work for the mixing of drinks or for the tequilla connoisseur but for those of you who prefer a cheaper but great alternative to shoot, you gotta get the Margaritaville Tequilla Gold. |

| Review for: Crystal Geyser Wild Berry Juice Squeeze |
Tasty, All Natural, And Versatile, May 20, 2008
Coming in a variety of flavours, Juice Drink is an all natural combination of sparkling water and fruit juice with no added
sugar, or artificial colors, corn syrup, etc. My favorite flavour is Cranberry/ Black Cherry which regularly sells out at our local market.
The Key Lime Flavour makes an excellent base (in place of
sweet/sour mix) for a premium, all natural incredient, lower sugar margarita.
Juice Squeeze beats "all natural" sodas like Hansen's hands down!!! |

| Review for: Bacardi Island Breeze Wld Bery |
Want it back!, May 09, 2008
Bacardi Wild Berry Island Breeze is/was awesome! I still have a little left, but it has been discontinued. The flavor was light and mixed with so many things...cranberry, 7up, crystal light...I hope Bacardi brings this low-calorie alcohol back! |

| Review for: Stirrings Cosmo Mix |
Really a great cosmo!, Apr 21, 2008
If you use this mix with a cocktail shaker and crushed ice, it will taste like the best bar-made cosmo.
I really like these stirrings drink mixes, because unlike most other drink mixers, they don't have chemicals or nasty non-food stuff in them. All fresh, and if you add touches like a fresh lime or a rim mix, it's really terrific. I highly recommend this one, it's one of the best in this line. |
