This game is a cinch. You just need a table, ledge or flat surface. Shuffle a deck of cards and drop a card face up in front of a friend. Make sure they've got a drink in their hands. Tell them "Higher, Lower, Smoke or Fire". The player will then have to guess one of these 4 choices. Higher means the next card is going to be higher than the card on the table. Lower means it'll be lower and Smoke or Fire represent the suit. Hearts and Diamonds are Fire while Clubs and Spaces are Smoke.
If they guess correctly 3 times in a row they can pass the stack of cards to another victim. This means you need to find a new player, usually beside the first player. This is no good.
You want them to drink, so here's your mission. They guess wrong, they drink. The fun part is they drink based on the pile of cards sitting in front of them. If there are 8 cards, they drink for 8 seconds. If they guessed "Higher" or "Lower" and the next card is equal, they're penalized. If it's a 2, they guess higher and the next card is 2, they double their drinking time. Those 8 cards mean 16 seconds of drinking.
If you're good, you can pass a huge pile to your poor nearby buddy. Hopefully they hit a penalty and drink two mounds of cards. |
